AndroKat: Android and Catholic

AndroKat was launched on October 9, 2012 as a Hungarian Catholic application for a phone running an android operating system.

OBJECTIVE

To unite eighty as much as possible eighty the currently available% ninety one Catholic mobile applications and websites provided by the facilities and services.

Supporting daily prayer / meditation but not collecting quotes.

We do not aim to make in-store books available for free download.

Remember that "... the worker deserves his wages "(Lk 10: 7), let us also support Catholic book publishers.

SERVICES

Listen to online radio. Be careful, it can cost a lot with mobilnet.

Downloadable% ninety one, audible audio materials about the daily gospel and other reflections.

A collection of the most important, best known prayers.

Confession preparation% ninety one, including prayer, spiritual mirror, spiritual readings. Possibility of individual note. Process and description of confession.

Downloadable% ninety one epub and pdf books. An internet connection is required to download books. An ePUB reader application is required to read them.

Daily saint according to the liturgical calendar.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

The application is basically designed to help you use offline mode, which you can. When you start the application, it downloads the latest content to your phone (if you have a live% ninety one internet connection), so you can read the content from there even without the internet.

It can be useful in the morning (after 5-6 hours) at home " "store your phone, so you can already read your favorite things on the bus and subway.

Obviously, this is not true for services that require a constant Internet connection. Eg online radio, videos, etc.

Some readable materials can be saved as favorites.

Because older offline materials stored on your phone are replaced with new ones from time to time, so if you want to keep something for a long time, you may want to save to favorites or email to yourself.

Some readable materials can be shared with pre-installed or factory applications on your phone, e.g. e-mail.

You can adjust the font size in the settings.

How many items are stored on the phone (offline database). This will prevent% ninety one from taking up too much space on your phone.

Or delete your favorites and offline database here. The latter time will, of course, be reloaded when you connect to the Internet for the first time, but only with the latest content.

You can set which pages are displayed in the application.

The app has ok community pages and a web version! So it is not exclusive okay if someone has a different phone;)
