Version Information

Precise Language Translation (TLA) is a direct translation of the biblical languages ​​(Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek); it is not an adaptation or paraphrase of any existing Spanish version. The two official versions of the United Bible Societies (SBU) that are used in all our translations around the world have been taken as the basis of the translation: the Bible Hebraica Stuttgartensia and the fourth revised edition of the Greek New Testament.

For the translation, the principles of translation established by the SBUs have been followed, the emphasis of which is on the faithful translation of the meaning of the authentic text and not on the grammatical forms or isolated words of the source text. Every effort has been made to ensure that our audience receives the same meaning of the message that the first audiences of the biblical text captured. For this reason, appropriate guidelines have been established for this version, both linguistically and literary.

The paragraph has been taken as the basic unit of discourse. For this reason special attention is paid to the phrases that serve as transitions within the paragraph itself and between all the paragraphs that make up the text. In this sense, the story is structured in such a way that the cause precedes the effect, that the previous information precedes the new. In addition, attention has been paid to the different planes that the characters occupy in the story. It has been considered how one sentence ends and the next one begins; how the changes between nouns and pronouns occur, the distance between the subject and the predicate, the rhythm of grammatical constructions, and the sounds of words and syllables.

You can select one or more verses of a chapter and mark as a favorite as well You can share the verses with your friends on different social networks.

By giving a favorite clip, the verses you marked are shown for quick access.

The Search menu will allow you to place a word in a text field and search the whole bible, in the old or new testament, if you specify the search range it may take less time to find matches, but if you select the whole bible it will take longer to find the results.

The configuration will allow you to change the size of the letters and the reading mode (Night and day).
