There are out there Bluetooth and separate WiFi Analyzers, this device combine both capabilities. This device is developed as an educational device to find units emitting electromagnetic (EM) alerts.
For both Bluetooth and WiFi, vary or distance is dependent on line of sight.
BT Range: Bluetooth 2.1 and Bluetooth 4 gadgets can be detected up to a theoretical vary of 100 meters. Bluetooth 5 devices can be detected up to a theoretical vary of four hundred to 1000 meters. Range is dependent on environment such as presence of obstacles.
WiFi Range: 2.four GHz band devices can be detected up to a theoretical vary of around forty five meters. 5 GHz band units can be detected up to a theoretical range of around 20 meters. Devices utilizing 802.11n standard can be detected up to a theoretical vary of around 50 meters.
