The Imams of Al-Baqi (peace be upon them) - visits - a historical overview

Al-Baqi 'is the name of the main cemetery of the people of Medina since the time of the Prophet (may God bless him and his family). Many Muslims and companions were buried in it. Among the most important burials in al-Baqi are four imams of the people of the house (peace be upon them), and they are:
1- Imam Al-Hassan bin Ali Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) is the second imam of the People of the House (peace be upon them).
2- Imam Ali bin Al-Hussein Al-Sajjad (peace be upon him) is the fourth imam of the People of the House (peace be upon them)
3- Imam Muhammad bin Ali al-Baqir (peace be upon him), the fifth imam of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
4- Imam Ja`far bin Muhammad al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), sixth imam of the Ahl al-Bayt (Peace be upon them).
As the wives of the Messenger (may God bless him and his family) were buried there, except for Khadija and Maymouna, as well as the burial of Ibrahim, the son of the Messenger of God (may God bless him and his family) and others. The graves of the imams of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) had domes and shrines, but the Wahhabis, more than two hundred years ago, demolished them out of hatred and ignorance.
