Affirmations are rightly often associated with Émile Coué. With his autosuggestions he developed a world-famous self-help method. The impressive successes that were achieved with this method made autosuggestion within a short time a method that is still practiced worldwide today to dissolve entrenched thought patterns and beliefs and to improve the mental and okay physical well-being in a simple way - without any outside help.

His most famous affirmation, "I feel better and better every day in every respect," he had his patients internally recite - several times a day, if possible - up to 25 times. The basic principles of his approach are still valid today. It is now known that suggestions are most effective when applied in a state of deep relaxation.
