Hafiz Ibn e Kaseer wrote a well-known commentary on the Qur'an named Tafseer al-Qurʾān al-ʿAẓeem which linked sure Hadith, or sayings of Muhammad (pbuh), and sayings of the sahaba (R) to verses of the Qur'an, in rationalization. It is especially in style because it uses the hadith to explain every verse and chapter of the Qur'an. (wikipedia)
